Terms and Conditions

By using PickUp Vaasa services you agree to these terms and conditions and commit to follow them. Please read these terms and conditions carefully, do not use the service in the case you do not agree with the terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to any services provided by PickUp Vaasa or purchases made through PickUp Vaasa.

“Vendor” refers to the company selling products and services in their respective shop hosted on PickUp Vaasa.

Who and what is PickUp Vaasa


PickUp Vaasa is an marketplace platform, providing a space for multiple vendors to host their store. Each vendor has their own store and is directly responsible for the products and services sold by them, any questions or complaints should be directed to the respective vendor in question.

Placing an Online Food Order

While we goes to great effort to provide accurate information, item names, descriptions, prices and possible allergenic warnings on the website, if you are in any doubt about allergy warnings or contents of a product, it is best to confirm with the vendor in question directly before ordering. Vendor contact information is found on their respective shop page. Once you have selected your order from the website’s online ordering menu, you will be given the opportunity to submit your order by clicking on the “Place Order” button. It is important that you check the information you entered, including your product items, before clicking on the “Place Order” button. Once you have clicked on the “Place Order” button, any input errors cannot be corrected. PickUp Vaasa or the respective Vendor hold no responsibility if you by mistake order wrong items.

For an order PickUp Vaasa will provide the order information and details to the Vendor, and a receipt will be sent by PickUp Vaasa on behalf of the Vendor. Once the order is confirmed and paid in full the Vendor will provide the requested products in the agreed method, in some cases the product is such that it is made on order. PickUp Vaasa cannot be held liable by the customer for the vendor failing to fulfill the order as agreed.

Once you have clicked on the “Place Order” button and your payment has been authorized, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address provided by you. If you have pre-ordered outside of the your business hours, the confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided by you when the vendor next open for business.

Once you have clicked on the “Place Order” button and your payment has been authorized, you will not be able to cancel or change your order nor will you be entitled to a refund, unless otherwise explicitly specified herein. As a courtesy, you may contact the vendor in order to request a change to your order; however, the vendor is under no obligation to fulfill this change request.

Delivery Times

The aim is to meet the pick-up and delivery time for our customers, agreed at the time of placing the order. However, the confirmed pick-up and delivery times are only estimates and may variate.

For the time of the delivery or pickup the Customer shall be contactable via the phone number provided in the order. In the case the Customer cannot be contacted, the Vendor may cancel the order and charge the full rate of the order. The Customer shall be present at the agreed delivery address or pick-up location at minimum 10 minutes before the agreed time.

PickUp Vaasa nor the Vendor can guarantee that orders will be available for pick-up or deliver at the agreed time. During rush hours, it might take about 10 – 15 minutes extra to complete your order.

Whilst the vendor will do their utmost to meet this pick-up or delivery time, unfortunately there may be factors beyond our and their control that prevent them from meeting the time slot. Should they expect the delay to be 15 minutes or more, they will contact you to inform about the situation and agree on a new pick-up or delivery time as soon as possible.

We or the vendor shall have no liability whatsoever for any delay or failure to deliver to you where such delay or failure is caused by a circumstance beyond our reasonable control.

Pricing and Payment

Prices will be as quoted on the website. These prices are tax inclusive. You agree to pay all fees and charges incurred in connection with your order.

Payment for all orders may be by Debit Card, Credit Card or Bank Transfer.

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamation, please contact the website the payment was made to.

By using the website’s online ordering service and selecting one of the available payment methods, you are acknowledging and agreeing, to sharing your personal information as entered into the form found on the payment page to the third-party payment processing service and agreeing to their terms of service. Prior to the purchase of any products on the website, you must provide us with a valid debit/credit card number and associated payment information including (a) your debit/credit card number, (b) the debit/credit card expiration date, and (c) the card verification digits required to charge your card.


Orders may be cancelled up to 1 hour before the confirmed pick-up time. The vendor will issue a refund to you within 21 working days. Cancellations within 1 hour of the pick-up or delivery time will be charged in full.

Complaints and Refunds

In the event that you have a complaint about your product order and/or service quality provided by the vendor, you must lodge your complaint by e-mail directly to the vendor in question as soon as possible. Depending on the case, you may get a refund to a maximum amount equivalent to the value of the original order. In the event that vendor is not able to fulfill the order service to you, you will receive a full refund in the manner with which you paid.

PickUp Vaasa is providing an platform for different vendors to sell and market their own products, and will not provide any refunds or compensations in relation to an purchase. Any claims or questions regarding refunds must be directed directly to the vendor in question.

Your Status

By placing an order through the website, you warrant that you are (a) legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and (b) are at least eighteen (18) years old.


We cannot guarantee the confidentiality of email messages sent over public network. The customer/person should avoid providing personal information or other sensitive information to Pickup Vaasa or any of the Vendors via email. PickUp Vaasa and/or the vendors cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage caused by this.


Any materials, texts, images or logos published on our website are protected by copyright. This material may not be copied, used or provided to an third party without the written agreement with the copyright owner. The product images are samples for the purpose of making ordering more simple, the actual product may look different from the images published here.

Pickup Vaasa or the Vendors do not directly handle any payment information. This information is handled by Paytrail Oyj according to their terms.

How long we retain your data

We store your data for the time necessary to complete processing your orders and to provide the services to our customers. The customer can once the transactions are complete and there no longer is an legal obligation to store the information, in written, request their information to be removed. The customer can review information stored about them or update the information by contacting us.
